A Stunning backdrop for your special day
With over 9600m2 of terraces, gardens, courtyards and grounds coupled with its stunning beachfront location make Casa do Mar’s a location that we think cannot be beaten anywhere in the Algarve. The green lawns, blue skies and sea provide the most spectacular backdrop for a wedding ceremony and reception. The house has its own beach terrace, large traditional enclosed courtyard and the two spacious lawns which are wonderful locations for both intimate or larger wedding ceremonies and receptions. We can host from as few as 30 or up to as many as 200 people.
We have a network of local suppliers, wedding planners and other event related contacts which we can introduce you to.
With a wedding at Casa do Mar the bride and groom (or their family and friends) also get to enjoy a stay at the house around the wedding (minimum of one week) so a wonderful holiday/honeymoon can be enjoyed at the house too!
Praia da Luz is a perfect small town for a wedding. With its easy access to key transport hubs guests can readily arrive from overseas or elsewhere in the Algarve. There is also a plethora of good local restaurants and accommodation (within walking distance) so your guests will be spoilt for choice with everything from small bed and breakfast accommodation to apartments, large villas and hotels suiting all budgets. There is also a large multi-denomination church where ceremonies can be held (as well as at the house) with the wedding party then simply walking along the beautiful pedestrianised seafront to come to Casa do Mar for the reception.
