About Casa do Mar
Casa do Mar is a uniquely positioned very large front line beach house with direct access from the garden to the lovely Luz beach. It is a a truly spectacularly located house.
With its un-interrupted stunning sea views, a heated swimming pool, spacious interior and beautiful managed gardens it is a wonderful location for family or large group holidays. The house can accommodate up to 14 people in a standard 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms rental which can also be extended to 16 if required.

Beachfront Location
Casa do Mar has direct access from the beautifully managed gardens onto the lovely Luz beach. Just simply walk down our garden paths and you’re on the sand. The house even has its own beach terrace!
Swimming Pool
Casa do Mar’s 8.5m x 5m solar heated pool is surrounded by lovely lawns and gardens and has a large curved bench seating area which overlooks both the pool and beach.
Spacious Inside & Out
Casa do Mar’s is a very large beachfront house with plenty of space both inside and out to accommodate multiple families or large groups. It’s location is truly unique.

I cannot think of a better place than this for a family vacation. Our group ranged in age from 2-68 and everyone found the stay great. Having 2+ acres of yard to play in and a pool did the trick for the younger family members. The 30-40 crowd really enjoyed the restaurants and shops in Luz, only steps away. My wife and I enjoyed just hanging out at the house with the breath taking view. And everyone loved being able to step from “our” yard onto the beach. It was a magical experience.

This is an incredibly unique property. It’s a historic property with breathtaking gardens leading on the beach whilst only steps away from fabulous restaurants and bars. The coastal path is easy to access, so a morning walk or job followed by a coffee in one of hte cafe’s is just perfect…..The owners were super helpful every step of the way, even doing so pre arrival shopping for us”

With over 9600m2 of terraces, gardens, courtyards and grounds Casa do Mar is unrivalled in its size and location in the Algarve. There is an enormous amount of space for our guests to spread out and not feel on top of each other, which is common in many villa rentals. Guests can also directly access the beach from the gardens and stroll into the centre of Luz within minutes and take advantage of the many cafe’s and restaurants yet feel the privacy that the house’s location offers.

Casa do Mar benefits from an enormous amount of space indoors. With a large dine in kitchen, separate dining room, two large sitting rooms and a study area (as well as 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms) there is so much space to accommodate large numbers with ease.

With over 9600m2 of terraces, gardens, courtyards and grounds coupled with its stunning beachfront location make Casa do Mar’s a location that we think cannot be beaten anywhere in the Algarve. The green lawns, blue skies and sea provide the most spectacular backdrop for any event, or wedding ceremony and reception. The house has its own beach terrace, large traditional enclosed courtyard and the two spacious lawns which are wonderful locations for both intimate or larger wedding ceremonies and receptions. We can host from as few as 30 or up to as many as 200 people.
